I love tortilla chips! I make a lot of Mexican-style meals at home because they are so quick and easy, use fresh ingredients and taste phenomenal. After a long day, I was craving simple chips with topped with melted cheese, but was out of chips. Too tired to go to the store, I found this recipe which thankfully uses regular tortillas which I had plenty of.
Basically you coat with oil (I used spray oil to make it even easier), cut them up (use pizza cutter), sprinkle salt, bake them at 375 for 8–10 mins till they get golden edges, and voila! You have freshly baked—healthy!—tortilla chips. The taste? Waaaaaaaaay better than even my favorite store-bought brand!
