Culinary Adventures > Healthy Banana Splits

This 5-minute Raw Banana Splits recipe from Minimalist Baker is a game-changer. I first saw it in the morning and knew I had to make it that day. It was both my breakfast and my lunch! It really became indulgent when I added coconut whipped cream and vegan chocolate sauce. It tasted like a full-on regular dessert but without any yucky or guilty feeling afterward. I love love love when a healthy treat tastes so good and feels so good—it’s the perfect balance of indulgence and health.

I used Forager Blueberry Cashewgurt, made the 5-minute Raw-nola linked in the recipe, topped with dried coconut, hemp seeds and tamari pepitas (love the savory and salty pop these added!), and the coconut whipped cream and vegan chocolate sauce linked above (I highly recommend adding these!). Then I topped with blackberries and blueberries I had on hand, though any berry would be delicious in this recipe.

This recipe is very versatile and you can literally go in a hundred different ways with the toppings, so it’s easy to adapt to what you have on hand.
